Here Are Some Frequently Asked Questions
The All Important, What Do I wear? And What Not to Wear
Skin contact is necessary to grip the pole for many spins and tricks. Some Lyra apparatus are wrapped with tape and you may wear leggings, pants and comfortable workout attire on wrapped lyras. For unwrapped Lyra you may want to bring a pair of shorts with you. Both wrapped and unwrapped lyras will be used during classes.
Form-fitting clothes that expose skin on your arms, shoulders, thighs and the knee down will make your class experience much more enjoyable when using equipment. Shorts are strongly encouraged and workout attire are fine. Socks, bare feet are acceptable and heels are optional.
Please refrain from wearing oils, lotions, or moisturizers, which can make gripping aerial apparatuses more challenging. Wear what feels comfortable for you, but keep these tips in mind as grip is crucial for your safety.
Where Do I Begin?
For New Booties, consider the following 2 Classes:
Pole Virgins is great for a first class and is offered at least once, every day of the week!
Intro to Lyra is a safe and intimate class. With only 4 students per class, it's small enough to get adequate one-on-one attention and still make friends.
Are There Age Restrictions?
Lyra, Yoga and Ground Classes are inclusive for all ages 7 and up. Parents are welcome to sign up with their kids. Parents must supervise all minors under the age 15, if not participating with their children in class.
Pole classes are available for members 15 and older. All members under the age of 18 must have a parent sign off on our release of liability waiver prior to attending.
What is the Cancellation Policy For Classes?
Cancellations made at least 6 hours prior to scheduled class time will be fully refunded. Please keep in mind, space is limited and cancelling early ensures that another student will have a chance to register into class. If you cancel within 6 hours of the class start time, you will be charged for the full class and a refund or credit will not be issued. Refunds will be issued for cancelations inside of the 6 hour cancelation window, only if due to unexpected inclement weather or medical emergencies. Please contact studio management for questions.
